My wife and I are at
the age where our friends are having kids. So to keep
friends and family updated on their kids daily activities, a
majority of them maintain their own blogs. Well, as I mentioned before, Quinn (my
wife) and I are expecting. That means that we need a blog
to keep our friends and family updated. So, I asked Quinn
to come up with some ideas for what she wanted our site to
look like. She gave me some great ideas, and I put together
a home page mockup in PhotoShop. When we decided on the
final design, I began working on the CSS and HTML. The CMS
I decided to go with is WordPress. It's pretty
simple to use, and I love the functionality it provides, and
the freedom you have to incorporate it into any design. The
fact that it's free, and very simple to install, made for an
easy decision as well. In all, I was able to purchase a
domain, setup hosting, and complete the design, CSS and HTML
in about 48 hours. I must say that I'm very happy with how it turned out, and
equally as excited that my wife has now joined the
blogosphere. So, have a look around, and enjoy.

I've been busy. Very, very, busy. Which means I've let
my blog suffer and haven't written anything since... let's
see here... NOVEMBER 27th! That's bad, however, I don't
feel bad in the least. You want to know why? Because my
site is taking a back seat to something way more important
right now. "What could that be?" you might ask. Well I'll
show you...

That's right, my beautiful wife and I are having a
beautiful baby girl!!! We went for our 32 week ultrasound
yesterday, and this picture (left) was taken. Isn't that
amazing!
So, as you can see, you may not hear from me for a while
as I'll be busy with more important business. You may,
however, see a few more posts here. Posts of a proud
father, showing off his beautiful baby daughter.

I can't believe I wrote only one post in October. What a
shame. There are quite a few good reasons for this,
however:
- My wife and I are expecting our first!!!
- We're selling our home, so we spent a majority of
October painting, cleaning, minor fixing.
- I'm busy at work (this one rarely changes).
- I'm extremely busy on the side.
I'll try to post more often, but the way things are going
now, and continue to proceed, don't hold your breath. I
hate to cut this short, but now it's time to learn some
Object Oriented JavaScript.
