El Paso 1997 Has Officially Launched!

El Paso 1997.com has
officially launched as of Monday, Oct. 23rd. It was a
relatively successful launch, with a few minor hiccups,
which were taken care of the day of release. I'm
particularly proud of this site, as it is my first try at
"PHP". I figured with my knowledge of ColdFusion, I'd be
able to learn PHP rather quickly. And I was right. I was
able to take the existing code for valpo1995.com and
convert it all to PHP with a mySQL database.
As of today (10/24), 12 people have submitted their information, and the site has had 35 unique visitors. This may not seem like much, but the graduating class of EPHS 1997 consisted of 62 students. I'd say those numbers aren't too shabby.
All-in-all, I'm happy with the end result, and am excited that I got the opportunity to teach myself some PHP.
